Expertise in Korea
My work in Korea began in 2001 when I moved to Seoul and started working with the Donga Ilbo newspaper. Despite being the closest country to Japan, the passionate nature of the Korean people is completely different. Once you become friends, they are incredibly kind and hospitable. My hypothesis is that their fondness for spicy food contributes to their spirited nature, and every visit to Korea fills me with excitement.
